City of Chamblee incorporates, and church embraces new identity as Chamblee Baptist Church

City experiences growth, and modifies its name to the First Baptist Church of Chamblee

1991

Faced with challenges to its survival, the church votes to live, and makes the bold decision to relocate with a new identity, as Johns Creek Baptist Church

1993

JCBC opens its doors to the community for worship in its newly constructed chapel, on October 17

2007

JCBC gathers in worship to celebrate the completion of the Sanctuary and final campus building, on March 18

2025
